Lonne Edward 'Lon' Grice passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2007 at Hospice by the Sea in oca Raton, Florida.

He was born January 16, 1937 in Carleton, Nebraska and was a retired Research and Development Engineer with IBM. Grice was a grduate of Wiesbaden American High School in Wiesbaden, Germany and of Gulf Coast Community College. After college, he served in the U.S. Air Force at Tyndall Air Force Base.

He was preceeded in death by his mother, Lorraine "Larrie" Marie Childress on December 2, 2007 and by his stepfather, William B. Childress. He is survived by a son, Douglas E. Grice and wife Lisa, of Altha, Florida, two daughters, Gia Nina Barnes and husband David, of Port St. Joe, Florida, and Alison H. Williams and husband, Joseph "JoJo," of Rocky Mount, North Carolina; two brothers, William B. Childress Jr. and wife Lyn, of Palmer, Alaska, and Mitchum D. Childress and wife, Virginia, of San Antonio, Texas; two sisters, DeeAnn Hynoksi of Orlando, Florida, and Jacqueline Worley and husband, Hayes, of Rodgers, Arkansas; two austins, Evelyn "Eddie" Davis of Jacksonville, Florida, and Michelle "Mike" Hopkins of Hyde Park, Utah; and seven grandchildren, Shannon Lee Grice of Pensacola, Florida, R.D. Grice of Panama City Beach, Florida, Jesten H. and Joseph S. Williams of Rocky Mount, North Carolina, Lynsey O'Bryan of ALtha, Adrianne Clark of Bayou George, Florida, and Amy Barnes of Newark, New Jersey

His final wishes were to be cremated and to forgo a formal service. The family will gather for a private celebration of his life Saturday, January 26, 2008, in Port St. Joe. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions in his memory to Hospice by the Sea in Boca Raton or any hospice organization.

Lopez, Maria S., age 80, of Boynton Beach, FL died Sunday, December 16, 2007. She was a beloved Christian mother to her four children and a dedicated wife to her husband, M-Francesio E. Lopez of 42 years until his death in 1994. Maria is survived by her daughter, Miriam Arca; son, Rev. Thomas and Joyce M-Lopez; daughter, Teresa and Rick Spring; daughter, Ana and James Leibbrand; her fourteen grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
