DIOZZI, Richard A. Age 76, died peacefully at his home in Plymouth
on November 10th, 2013. Born in Plymouth, MA on May 13, 1937, a son of
the late Emelio Diozzi and Valida (Heath) Webber . He was educated in
Plymouth, MA, and Germany and attended the American High School in
Wiesbaden, Germany. He was also a graduate of Plymouth High School. He
entered the US Air Force and served as an Airman First Class during the
Vietnam War. Richard was the owner of Radii Precision Machining. He
retired in May of this year. Mr. Diozzi lived in Plymouth for most of
his life, spending several years in Duxbury as well as the few years he
spent in Germany. He enjoyed flying kites, working on puzzles and
models, and collecting military memorabilia. He had also served on the
"Take Back Our Beach" Committee. Richard was the most significant other
to his beloved Carol Lee who predeceased him. He was the father of
Michael Diozzi and his significant other Lisa Sarazin of St. Francis,
Minnesota, and Kim Silva of Plymouth. He was the brother of Patricia
Albertini of Milford, NH, and leaves his half-sister Cindy Lee Diozzi
Rezendes. Additional survivors include Debra Shores of Yarmouthport,
Andrew Thevenin and his significant other Erica Burke of Plymouth,
Thomas Thevenin, Jr. of Plymouth, Gregory and Heather Thevenin of Carver
and his grandchildren; Katelyn, Dan, Taylor, Leah, Ben, Caitlin,
Cameron, Autumn, Zachary, and Erica. A Mass of Christian Burial will be
held at St. Mary's Church in N. Plymouth on Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013 at
10:00 a.m. Visitation will take place on Saturday morning at the
Cartmell Funeral Home, 150 Court St., PLYMOUTH from 8:45 to 9:45 a.m.
Cremation in Vine Hills Crematory, Plymouth. Donations in his memory may
