James Landis
Faulk, 66, passed away March 6, 2012 at home in Pace, Florida. Mr. Faulk
was born July 3, 1945 in Marianna, Florida to James Houston Faulk and
Inez Evans Faulk.
During his childhood, Landis lived in Florida,
Alaska and Germany. He graduated from H.H. Arnold High School in
Wiesbaden, Germany and also attended the University of Maryland. After
briefly living in Florida after returning from Germany, Landis settled
in Atlanta, Georgia in 1970 where he lived until his retirement in 2008.
He first retired from Gulf Oil Corporation and then owned and operated a
Signs Now franchise before retiring once again. Over the years, he
enjoyed snow skiing, bowling, camping, softball and going to the beach.
He is preceded in death by his father, James Houston Faulk and his grandparents.
Mr.
Faulk is survived by his devoted wife of 28 years, Nanci Norman Faulk
of Pace, Florida; mother, Inez Evans Faulk of Pace, Florida; daughter,
Angela Krause (Manfred) of Pensacola, Florida; son, Dustin Faulk of
Pensacola, Florida; granddaughters, Jessica Sewell of Pensacola,
Florida, Ashley Sewell of Gainesville, Florida and great-granddaughter,
Ava Dobbs of Pensacola, Florida.
Funeral services will be held
at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 09, 2012 at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel with
Pastor Louis Spivey officiating.
Entombment will follow at Bayview Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
