Elaine Elizabeth Davis, 54, of Belton, Mo., passed away May 4,
2009, at Research Belton Medical Center after a lengthy battle with
multiple sclerosis.
The family has made arrangements for cremation. Memorial services 2 p.m. Saturday, May
9, at McGilley & George Funeral Home, 611 Chestnut, Belton.
Visitation 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers
contributions suggested to Mid America Chapter, National Multiple
Sclerosis Society.
Elaine was born into an Air Force family on Jan. 4, 1955, in Omaha, Neb. to parents, Rodney of Bauxite, Ark, and Ina Davis of Offenbach, Germany.
Elaine attended middle and high school in Wiesbaden, Germany, graduating from General H. H. Arnold High School in 1973.
She worked for the Marine Corps at R-G, retiring after 20 years. Elaine is survived by her parents, Rodney and Ina Davis, residents of Belton, MO; three brothers
and their wives, Robert (Twila) of Belton, Michael (Becky) of Raymore,
Steven (Kristan) of Raymore; two nephews and three nieces, Jeffrey,
Russell, Twila Ann, Mary and Evalina; and her long time friend, Karl
Graham of the home.
