BOW – Laura Jean Tucker, 59, of Bow, passed away on Friday, May 20, 2016.
She
was born February 6, 1957 in Bitburg, Germany, to USAF Colonel L.
Robert Tucker and Charlotte Young. Laura was an Air Force
brat, she attended 11 schools in 12 years; finally, graduating in
1975 at Gen. HH Arnold High School in Wiesbaden, Germany. She
graduated cum laude from Plymouth State College in 1979.
In
1980, after completing her first year of teaching in Franklin and
Master Ed. Courses at Plymouth, she tutored, wrote for the local
paper, and pursued her passion of genealogical research.
She
was a former board member of Granite State Independent Living, a
member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, and the Church
school Superintendent Dunbarton Congregational Church.
Laura is survived by her brother, Leon R. Tucker, of Tokyo, Japan.
A
memorial service will be held on Monday May 30 at 2 p.m. at the
First Congregational Church of Dunbarton, 6 Stark
Hwy North, Dunbarton. A burial will be held at a later
date.
Memorial contributions in Laura's name may be made to the First Congregational Church of Dunbarton.
