January 9, 1961 ~ October 17, 2014 (age 53)
In the presence of family, God called to his heavenly home Marvin Lee. He now joins his relatives and friends and is now in peace. Born in St. Louis, Missouri, Marvin Lee traveled with his family to many places
as were part of his father's military duties during which time he
excelled in school and athletics particularly basketball.
Upon graduation from Wiesbaden High School in Germany, he spent several years
in the United States Air Force, married Isa Arnell Jackson, and to this
union a daughter was born. Following his service in the Air Force, he
took classes at Texas A&M University-Commerce where he met his
current wife Robbyn Lee. After completing college, they moved to Laredo,
Texas where Marvin worked for United ISD for many years, during which
time he also had a son Aric and daughter Tiara.
In addition to his work in the district, Marvin was also a dedicated volunteer youth league basketball coach for several years. He later moved on to work for Global
Tel-Link.
Marvin is survived by his loving and caring wife of 26 years,
Robbyn Lee; daughters, Tiara Lee and Tamika Lee-Judge; son, Aric Lee;
and mother, Idell Lee. He is further survived by two grandchildren,
Aiden and Hailey. He is also survived by his brother, Derrick Lee and
his wife Felicia; and by his sister, Theresa Lee-Covington and her
husband Alan; as well as by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many
beloved friends.
The family will receive condolences on Saturday
morning, October 25, 2014 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Joe Jackson North
Funeral Chapels, 1410 Jacaman Rd. where a Chapel Service will commence
at 1 p.m. Inurnment will be held at a later date.
The Lee family would like to thank the medical staff and personnel at San Antonio Military Medical Center as well as the Fisher House Foundation.
