December 29, 1953 - December 3, 1969
Nancy Marie Wills was born in San Diego County, California on December 29, 1953 to Richard Wills and Adele Lorraine (Hunt) Wills (also of San Diego County), along with her sister, Marsha Jean Wills (born in 1960 in San Bernardino).
Nancy's mother married James Dale Flowers of Riverside, California on November 4, 1967 in Los Angeles. James was in the U.S. Air Force and was stationed in Wiesbaden, Germany, where the family relocated. Nancy attended General H. H. Arnold High School in Wiesbaden for her Freshman and Sophomore years.
During her Freshman year, Nancy joined the WHS Red Cross Chapter.
Just a few months into her Sophomore year, Nancy was involved in a car accident. Speed was a factor in the accident. She was pronounced dead at the U.S.A.F. Hospital in Wiesbaden at 2:30 in the afternoon on December 3, 1969, a month shy of her 16th birthday. Her remains were sent back to the United States, where she was buried in Greenwood Memorial Park in San Diego, California.
Nancy was survived by her mother and step-father, and her sister, along with many other extended family members. There is a tribute to Nancy in the 1970 Wiesbaden High School yearbook to observe the passing of her life, cut tragically short.
'Our Beloved Daughter'
Rest on in peace, Nancy. Though you were with us only a short while, at school and in life, you are remembered.
