I had just started at the VA in September of 2017. Carol always made herself available if I needed assistance with anything! In the 14 months that I knew her, I found her to be a genuinely bright person, ready with a kind word, and on the rare occasion, willing to listen to some of my cleaner "old jokes". I, along with many people that had the pleasure of being part of her life here at the VA, will sorely miss her. All I have to do is remember our interactions, and my day gets just a bit brighter! I will always be thankful, even if it was only 14 months! May her family take comfort in knowing just how much she meant to the many people that they will likely not know! She was precious!
