Melissa Steadman, age 52, of Paris, Tenn., died Tuesday, January  6, 2015, at her Residence in Paris, Tenn.

She was a member of Grace Episcopal Church.    She was a former Member of Eastern Star Chapter 102 in Panama City, FL.    She worked as a Driver's License Examiner in Bay County FL, before becoming sick and moving to TN.    Served one year in United States Air Force..  .

She was born March 3, 1962 in Alexandria, LA to the late Paul Steadman and Pauline  M. Rumford Steadman of Paris, TN.

Besides her mother, She is also survived by her  One Daughter,  Christina P. Daly of Panama City, Fla;  One Son,  Steven Carl Timothy Mika of Panama City, Fla;  Two Sisters,  Amanda J. (Jeff) Schira of Aurora, Ohio,  Stephanie A. Steadman of Okinawa, Japan;  One Brother,  Timothy J.R. (Kim) Steadman of Franklin, Ohio;  Grandchildren,  Skyler Griffin and Lariah Daly.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn.

She is to be cremated with a service at later date.

Dear Pauline, Amanda, Steph, Tim, Christina and Stephen,

I'm so sorry to hear of Melissa's passing. She has been so very strong for so long I'm sure she gave all to stay with you as long as she could. I shall always remember her laughter and I hope you can too. Sending prayers and condolences to all who are grieving.

I am so glad she is free from pain and with my Dad and Grandmother. It is hard losing a younger sibling. I will always remember the times growing up in Italy and Germany. Even though she was the pain in the neck sister growing up we became good friends later on. I will always love and miss her. I am glad that she had such great friends that she was able to talk to and they were able to cheer her up (Judy).

You are in a better place!!!!
