Otis Leon Wilson was born into an active duty military family to Otis N. and Lillie Pearl Wilson in Columbus, Georgia on June 22, 1970. The Wilson family got stationed in Wiesbaden, Germany, where Otis attended the Wiesbaden American Middle School and General H. H. Arnold High School. Otis made many life long friends while in Wiesbaden.

The Wilsons moved back to the States 1985, in time for Otis' Sophomore year. He attended Carroll High School in Ozark, Alabama, graduating with the Class of 1988. Otis had a family, and eventually moved to Burlington, North Carolina.

Otis got married to Teresa on July 6, 2016.

Teresa shared that Otis passed on October 10, 2019.

Otis is survived by his children, his mom and dad, his brother, Danny, his wife, Teresa, multiple grandchildren, many cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family members.
