STEWART MCGEAHY Stewart Anthony McGeahy, 42, of Stow, Ohio, passed
away Aug. 23, 2007. He was born Oct. 26, 1964, in England. Stewart
attended high school in Wiesbaden, Germany, where he graduated in 1982.
He also attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Stewart was
employed by the U.S. Army and was a highly decorated war veteran. Most
recently, his assignment was as military science instructor at Kent
State University in Ohio. He held many assignments in the Army, which
included senior drill instructor, platoon sergeant, as well as a year's
service in Operation Iraqi Freedom. Stewart was preceded in death by his
mother, Anne T. McGeahy. He is survived by his wife, Cindy McGeahy;
children, Jessica, Alexis, Kiersten, McKenzie, Travis, Shea and Owen;
parents, James D. McGeahy, Laura McGeahy, and Raymond Wood; grandmother,
Audrey McGeahy, brothers, Shaun McGeahy and Jamie McGeahy; sisters,
Melissa Lixfield and Renee Sarria. Graveside services, with military
honors, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 4, at Davis Funeral Home and
Memorial Park, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.
