Alan Jay Godwin

Orland - Alan Jay Godwin, 47, passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at his residence in Millinocket.
He was born September 28, 1972, in Goldsboro, NC, the son of Alan J. and Peggy S. (Ehrhardt) Godwin.
Having his father in the US Air Force, Alan grew up in many different areas in the world. He joined the U.S. Army after high school and following his discharge he attended Kaplan University.
He enjoyed playing golf, attending car shows, and playing video games.
In addition to his father Alan, he is survived by his six children: Amanda, Ashley, Tyla, Cody, Victoria, Samantha, four grandchildren: Julia, Whitney, Colby, and Toby. He also leaves behind three siblings: Shannon, Andrew, and Amy, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother Peggy in 2019.
A funeral service will be conducted 2 PM Monday, August 17, 2020, at the Milo Apostolic Lighthouse Church, with the Rev. Dan Mann Jr. officiating.
Interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery in Milo. Immediately following the committal the family invites relatives and friends to a reception at the church fellowship hall.
