Sheon Jeanniece Rose

Our beloved, Sheon Jeanniece Rose, 35, was born in Suffolk, Virginia on August 1, 1976, to Gladys Winslow and Samuel R. Mills, Jr.
She was a "military brat," who lived in Fort Campbell, Kentucky and Takoma, Washington, but spent most of her youth in Germany. As an adult, Sheon made her home in Midlothian, Virginia.
Sheon graduated from General H.H. Arnold High School in Wiesbaden, Germany, in
1994, and received her Bachelor of Science degree from Hampton University in 1998. She continued her education, and in 2001, earned a Juris Doctorate from William and Mary School of Law. She was an Investigation Supervisor with the Department of Professional and Occupational
Regulation.
Sheon's life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by her understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. Her dedicaton to her children, family, and friends was apparent in her words and actions.
To know Sheon was to have an avid supporter, personal counselor, and
dedicated friend for life. She had a beautiful smile, an infectious laugh, and a voice that was truly a gift from God
Sheon passed unexpectantly on Friday, August 12, 2011, and leaves to cherish her loving
memories: her parents, Samuel and Gladys Mills of Elkridge, MD; husband, Bradley A. Rose, Jr.; daughter,Alanah J. (12), son, Jaellen R.(7); two sisters, Chmaika P. Mills of Laurel, MD and
Felicia R. Covington (Darrell) of Greenville, SC; one brother, Pechawn L. Wilson of Chesapeake, VA; grandmother, Elsie Chatman of Suffolk, VA; aunts, Rose Davis (Rudolph) of Suffolk, VA., Saundra Banks of Portsmouth, VA, and Jill Winslow of Suffolk, VA; uncle, Darwin Mills of San Francisco, CA; in laws, Bradley and Diane Rose of Longwood, FL; sister-in-law, Smantha Boomgaarden (MarK) of Satellite Beach, FL; three nieces, one nephew and a host of other relatives and friends.
